PFAS allow for the safe handling of chemicals through highly resistant pipes, vessels and joints. Their chemical stability allows them to be resistant to some of the most corrosive substances on the market, protecting workers and equipment from harm. Without access to PFAS, we may no longer have access to other raw materials within Europe. Manufacturers and downstream users will miss key components in their value chains to produce their end-products, regardless of whether these products contain PFAS. ​
